Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons

It’s been said that this is the greatest graphic novel ever created, and that made may be true. All I know is that there is something essential about this book. This might be ostensibly about superheroes, but really it’s about the end of the world. It made me think, and that is one of the few things I ask from an author. 

Oddly enough, I find Rorschach to be one of the most sympathetic characters ever. That probably says something about me.
